Here for the Spook

Happy spooky season my friends! I have such a big love for October before even thinking about Halloween. I honestly think that October might even be my favorite month? I’ll definitely have to ponder on that a little more. Anyways! We are literally halfway to Halloween. I have always loved getting dressed up, eating way too many almond joys, and watching scary movies (honestly I mostly hide behind a pillow because I can’t do scary movies well).

This year we are changing it up a little! I have always wanted to do Halloween sessions during October, but life. This year we were finally able to make it happen and it sparked some major ideas. Major idea being how cool would it be to do a pop-up photoshoot?!

In the past, I used to go to Picture People on Halloween with my little brother. Every Halloween they would do free portraits of kids dressed up and then the parents could purchase a print. It was actually such a fab idea, and my family still loves the photos we got from there for literally a 2 minute picture.

So I decided why couldn’t I do something like that? While the Halloween Pop-Up is just the beginning of (hopefully) many more pop-up events, we thought it would be a great kickstart. Here’s the skinny on it:

We want everyone to get dressed up in their best costumes. Then come say hey, we’ll be on Grand St in Downtown Bethel, CT. We’ll put you in front of our trendy little backdrop (have you seen the clothesline shoots? It’s a white sheet handing on a clothesline and the sheet is the backdrop. So cute, old school/retro vibes… literally perfect.) and take your photo showing off your amazing costumes for 5-10 minutes. On November 1st, all the photos will be uploaded into our Halloween Gallery where you can purchase the digitals/prints. The only cost of this is the digitals/prints, but getting your photo taken is 100% free. We are also so excited to take this to the next level and really show off our community; Crafts by Jackie and Addy will also be hanging and doing a little pop-up shop too! They have the cutest holiday & home decor and we are just so excited to have local supporting local during this event.

We hope to see you all at our Pop-Up Shoot! Let us know that you’re joining in on our Facebook Event. Until Halloween,

enjoy all these spooky photos from an amazing shoot I got to collaborate on with the CTPPA.
